Job Introduction

Support Worker  - Waking Nights in Liskeard

You will support a lady living independently in her own bungalow.  She loves being part of her local community, having her own car to get out and about to do the things she enjoys and needs.  She requires help and support with her daily living skills, personal care and medication. Your support will be centred around her preferences, interests and needs.

You’ll be supported in your role from day one. All support workers work flexible shifts to provide a 24/7 service to the people we support.  

This position has a “genuine occupational requirement” covered under the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 and therefore only applicants from females can be considered.

  • Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training or friendships.
  • To contribute to, develop and implement the individual's care plans. 
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals. 
  • Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support.
