About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and organised Fundraising Assistant to join Brandon Trust during an exciting period of growth. In this role, you’ll help us to generate income through research, community engagement, donor management, marketing support, and administration. You’ll play a key part in building a strong culture of fundraising across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the Marketing Manager and wider team, you will:

  • Research and identify new individual, corporate, and foundation funding opportunities.

  • Support and deliver community fundraising initiatives across Brandon’s operating areas.

  • Help plan, coordinate, and deliver campaigns and events (including mailings, digital campaigns, and donor events).

  • Maintain accurate donor records using a CRM system.

  • Assist with the preparation of grant proposals, reports, and other documentation.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Marketing, Communications, Enterprises, Retail, and Operations.

  • Contribute to fundraising reports, analysing donor trends and campaign outcomes.

We’re looking for someone with either fundraising experience or transferable skills, such as engagement, marketing, or relationship management. You should also have:

  • Understanding of marketing principles to support fundraising campaigns.

  • Knowledge of the UK charity framework and fundraising regulations.

  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Experience in a customer-facing role or volunteering in the charity sector.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills.

  • Strong research and analytical ability.

  • A proactive, solution-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle (willing to travel for Brandon business).

Why Join Us?
